SuperBook Sports Set For Ohio Launch

  • SuperBook Sports has announced that they’ll be launching soon in Ohio.
  • Mobile sports betting in Ohio will go live on January 1, 2023.
  • Ohio will be the 7th state for SuperBook Sports following Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Jersey, Tennessee and Iowa.

It was just over three years ago that SuperBook Sports launched their first presence outside of Nevada with mobile betting in Colorado. They had hoped to launch by the end of September but with the COVID pandemic raging they did a good job not missing it by much. Things got off to a dubious start in the Centennial State–when they were added to the list of Colorado licensed sportsbook operators a typo in the URL sent visitors to ‘co.subperbook.com’. They also launched their first retail location outside of Nevada in June 2021 at the Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado.

They’ve since added Arizona, New Jersey, Tennessee and Iowa to their roster. SuperBook Sports will soon make it seven states with the addition of Ohio. Legal sports betting launches on January 1, 2023 in Ohio and the SuperBook Sports app will be ready to go. SuperBook is partnered with Major League Soccer’s FC Cincinnati as the team’s ‘official betting partner’. A retail sportsbook is forthcoming in downtown Cincinnati at Taft’s Ale House. Based on the Taft’s Ale House website, it could be one of the nicest environments for a sportsbook in the US:

You no doubt already know that SuperBook Sports is the offspring of the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas. You also no doubt know that they boast a couple of the most highly regarded oddsmakers in the business in Jay Kornegay and John Murray. Kornegay–who is also VP of Race & Sportsbook Operations for the company–is looking forward to opening up shop in Ohio:

“We look forward to serving Ohio sports fans during this exciting time. With the impressive number of betting lines on SuperBook, we’re confident that even the most enthusiastic of bettors will find the exact wagers that they are looking for.”

As is SuperBook Sports Chief Executive Officer, Mark Lipparelli:

“We’re thrilled to be a part of the official launch of sports betting in The Buckeye State. The next few months will be lively in the sports betting world with bowl games and basketball. It’s a great time to get to know our betting lines and see for yourself why SuperBook is renowned for our trusted odds that help you make informed wagers and win big.”

Starting January 1, customers can download the SuperBook Sports app from the Apple App Store by searching for SuperBook Sports Ohio. Customers on Android can download the app from oh.SuperBook.com or find us in the Google Play Store. Wagering will also be available at oh.SuperBook.com.
