- This is the 21st season for CBS’s reality show.
- ‘Big Brother’ is a spin-off of a Dutch TV series of the same name.
- ‘Big Brother’ Season 21 Episode 38 airs September 19 at 8:00 PM Eastern.
Tommy Bracco was the (somewhat) shocking elimination on Episode 35 of Big Brother. Bracco was the favorite to win Season 21 as of last week but a very tepid favorite at +215. Two other contestants were priced at +250. All five contestants last week were priced at odds of +450 or lower to be eliminated so it’s not exactly a huge upset that Bracco was sent packing.
That makes this the penultimate week of Big Brother Season 21. We’ve got four contestants remaining and the competition is wide open at this juncture. Nicole Anthony is a +135 favorite but none of the remaining four contestants are priced higher than +300.
Big Brother continued it’s strong run in the ratings. The episode for Sunday, September 8 brought in the show’s highest viewership (4.75 million) since the season’s debut episode. The viewership numbers were no doubt aided by a bloodbath on NFL Sunday Night Football where the New England Patriots routed the Pittsburgh Steelers 33-3. The numbers for the Wednesday and Thursday shows also remained strong
