UFC London Preview: Can “The Miracle” Halt the Evloev Machine?

The Octagon returns to the O2 Arena on March 21, 2026, for a card that serves as a high-stakes crossroads for the Featherweight and Middleweight divisions. With a hometown hero looking to punch his ticket to a title shot and several British standouts facing veteran tests, UFC London is shaping up to be a defining night for UK MMA.

The Main Event: Movsar Evloev (-265) vs. Lerone Murphy (+225)

The headliner is a quintessential “clash of styles” with massive title implications. Movsar Evloev (-265) enters as the clear favorite, carrying an unblemished 19-0 record and a grappling-heavy style that has stifled some of the best in the world. Evloev’s path to victory is no secret: he uses relentless chain wrestling and top control to drown his opponents, as seen in his recent dominant win over Aljamain Sterling.

However, Lerone “The Miracle” Murphy (+225) is not your average underdog. Fighting out of Manchester, Murphy is also undefeated (17-0-1) and is coming off a sensational “Knockout of the Year” performance against Aaron Pico. To pull off the upset, Murphy must utilize his elite footwork and four-inch reach advantage to keep the fight at range. If he can catch Evloev coming in—much like his spinning back elbow finish in August—he could easily secure a date with Alexander Volkanovski. The value on Murphy at +225 is enticing for those who believe his hometown energy and striking speed can disrupt Evloev’s rhythm.

The Co-Main Event: Michael Aswell (+170) vs. Luke Riley (-200)

In the co-main slot, Liverpool’s Luke Riley (-200) looks to continue his meteoric rise against the gritty Michael Aswell (+170). Riley is widely considered the next big thing out of the UK, possessing a finishing instinct that was on full display in his recent KO debut in Qatar. Aswell is a durable, high-pace fighter from Houston who thrives in “dogfights,” but the oddsmakers are banking on Riley’s superior technical striking and the roaring London crowd to carry him to another victory.

Middleweight Collision: Roman Dolidze (+350) vs. Christian Leroy Duncan (-450)

One of the most lopsided lines on the main card features the surging Christian Leroy Duncan (-450) against veteran Roman Dolidze (+350). Duncan, known for his flashy “spinny-shit” and creative striking, is being positioned for a breakthrough. Dolidze is a dangerous grappler with “fuck you” power, but he has struggled with consistency recently. At -450, the market is essentially saying this is Duncan’s fight to lose; his speed and diverse arsenal should be enough to keep the Georgian at bay, though Dolidze remains a live dog if he can force a clinch battle.

The Return of MVP: Michael Page (-240) vs. Sam Patterson (+205)

Michael “Venom” Page (-240) makes a curious return to Welterweight to face fellow countryman Sam Patterson (+205). Page has expressed some frustration with the matchmaking, feeling he’s being “under-ranked,” but he remains a nightmare to prepare for. Patterson is a tall, lanky submission specialist who has been in fine form, but finding a way inside MVP’s reach without getting “clowned” is a tall order. Expect Page to use his signature movement to hunt for a highlight-reel finish.
