Circa To Take Over Sportsbook Operation At Tuscany Suites & Casino

  • Circa Sports is taking over operation of the sportsbook at the Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas.
  • The Tuscany sportsbook will be Circa’s first retail presence outside of downtown Las Vegas.
  • Circa launched a mobile betting app in Colorado earlier this year.

Tuscany Suites & Casino has for years been considered one of the ‘best kept secrets’ in Las Vegas. Located just two blocks away from the ‘fabulous Las Vegas Strip’ at 255 East Flamingo Road the Tuscany has all of the bases covered–all suites lodging, decent food and beverage options and a first rate casino. They’ll now have an equally first rate sportsbook. Circa Sports has announced that they’ll launch a rebranded sportsbook at the Tuscany set to launch in March 2021.

Circa owner Derek Stevens has become one of the most visible Las Vegas boosters over the past year and his high profile status definitely won’t change when his flagship property–Circa Resort & Casino–opens downtown later this year. Currently in operation at the D Las Vegas and the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, Circa Sports has earned a reputation as an up and coming sportsbook brand among both ‘sharps’ and recreational players. You can read about the ‘Circa Sports Bookmaking Philosophy’ on the company’s website:

THE CIRCA SPORTS BOOKMAKING PHILOSOPHY

Circa Sports has been a company on the move in 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this year, they launched a mobile app in Colorado in partnership with Century Casino Cripple Creek. The sportsbook will also be a big component of the Circa Resort & Casino when it opens in late December. In fact, the sportsbook at the Circa will be one of the largest in Nevada rivaling the Westgate Superbook.

It was only a matter of time before Circa grew beyond DTLV but the Tuscany is an unlikely venue. Their sportsbook is currently under the operation of William Hill but apparently the Tuscany is looking to make a name for itself as a sports betting destination. Here’s what Derek Stevens said about the deal with the Tuscany:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Tuscany as Circa Sports’ first satellite location in Las Vegas. This will open a lot of doors in the market to provide wider sports betting opportunities for customers.”

Brett Heers, CEO of Tuscany, praised Circa and affirmed his desire to see the property become a player in the Las Vegas sportsbook scene:

“We are excited about this relationship, with the level of product that Circa provides and second to none customer service, partnered with our ease of access location we believe we can be a top sportsbook destination.”

Matt Metcalf, Circa Sports sportsbook director, said the move beyond downtown is a key moment for his company:

“Tuscany does a wonderful job of combining ease of access for players with an overall great casino atmosphere. We view this partnership as a key moment for Circa Sports as we work toward it becoming one of the premier sports betting brands in the Las Vegas valley.”

The official start date of the partnership is March 1, 2021 with the re-imagined sportsbook expected to open sometime that month.
