Down to the final five on American Idol after Sunday’s show. Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon and Laci Kaye Booth (what is it with these people with three names?) both ended up in the bottom two. The judges voted to save Booth to the astonishment of many in the show’s viewership. My thinking is that it was more than likely a matter of gender. The field was already a bit heavy on male contestants and this leaves three men and two women.
